As a refresher, most groups are guaranteed $7,500 by The Schnitzer CARE Foundation and can double that amount by raising an additional $750. Most grantmaking groups receive a guaranteed $7,500 from The CARE Foundation for their grantmaking. Additional fundraising is optional but highly encouraged because it is a great way to practice important skills, have fun with peers, and educate the community about different service areas.
